The Adaptive Living Laboratory
The Adaptive Living Laboratory provides a place to study methods and outcomes for adapting the environment to support independent living skills.

SHRS’s Department of Communication Science and Disorders provides audiology services related to the identification, assessment, and management of hearing disorders in children and provides comprehensive speech and language services to the audiology and communications disorders department at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
The Eye & Ear Institute includes clinics that pertain to study at SHRS, notably the Center for Audiology and Hearing Aids.
The Facial Nerve Center provides multidisciplinary evaluation of and treatment for all types of facial paralysis caused by injury or disease of the facial nerve or muscles.
